Seeing is Believing
Seeing is Believing
At DB3 we believe that the visual communication of design intent is of highly significant importance to the ultimate success of your architectural and construction projects.
We have a skilled and dedicated visualisation team who can apply a myriad of visualisation styles to match your project’s needs. From realistic motion or static renders, to sketches and that ‘hand drawn’ feel we can show the full visual impact of architectural design from initial stages.
Benefits of Visualisation: Bringing a Project to Life
Benefits of Visualisation: Bringing a Project to Life
Our high quality visual output is particularly helpful in the planning process, enabling a visual understanding of the build proposed and helps identify any improvements or amends that would further enhance the architectural project.
Where a public consultation is required, visualisation aids in communicating the purposes and benefits of the new scheme and assists in bringing decision makers and the local community on board with the proposals.
Drawings and animations enable stakeholders to understand the concepts and final designs and assist with the sign off processes.
The collateral created is also useful for Marketing purpose, in particularly for housing developers and where developers seek to attract partners, win new business contacts or sign up tenants.
Creative Visualisation Tools
Creative Visualisation Tools
Our talented in-house team are trained and fully versed in using the relevant software and come from various creative disciplines including Architecture and Design, Graphic Design, Video Production and Editing. We create visuals to varying degrees of photo realism using tools such as:
“DB3 Architecture used their modelling and visualisation skills to prepare a movie and a range of still images which helped visualise the completed project and how it sits in the environment. It was particularly beneficial in helping the scheme get through the Planning Process including a CABE design review and a Public Consultation on what was a very sensitive site.”

Building Information Modelling
Building Information Modelling
When combining with Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology, visualisation becomes an even more powerful tool. BIM is a process involving the generation and management of digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of places. One of its benefits is that it enables detection of any potential clashes at design stage, saving costs further down the line.
For many years we have designed utilising 3D modelling and took the strategic step to implement Revit. We use Revit for all scales of project and as an application to input to the BIM process.
Through the application of BIM we can help clients achieve real commercial results, through improved efficiency, better design, clearer coordination and accessible, intelligent information.
“DB3 Architecture did a fantastic job in bringing our landmark regeneration project ‘Llys Cadwyn’ to life with a range of outstanding imagery and a fly through movie. These played an important part of the design process and proved highly beneficial to the overall success of our scheme. The high quality visualisations underpinned our stakeholder engagement strategy by turning our ambitious ideas into a visual concept that allowed everyone to share our vision prior to construction.”
