Revealing DB3 Charity of the Year 2021
In December, our 2020 Christmas Campaign has raised a fantastic £405 for the charity Action for Children, which has spurred us on to select a DB3 Charity of the Year for 2021.
The pandemic has triggered, what the charity Mind call a mental health emergency, so we decided to support them in their quest to help those affected by it.
Although all DB3 studios will work together to raise funds for Mind, this does not mean we won’t be continuing to fundraise for other national and local charities this year.
Currently our Project Architect Martyn is Running Every Day in January for Samaritans – you can view his progress so far here on his fundraising page.
DB3 Value: Health, Wealth and Wellbeing
DB3 Value: Health, Wealth and Wellbeing
Many more people have been affected by Mental Health since the Covid-19 pandemic commenced, bringing its importance even more so to the forefront. Alongside raising funds for Mind, we are putting the spotlight on Mental Health this year and raising awareness amongst our staff and stakeholders.
“Health, Wealth and Wellbeing” is one of our five DB3 Values as we seek to proactively respect and care for each other’s wellbeing. By choosing Mind as our Charity of the Year we aim to extend this DB3 Value out to the wider community and support those affected by Mental Health.
Our Fundraising Plan so far
Our Fundraising Plan so far
We will be doing a number of fundraising events and challenges this year to raise money via our Just Giving Page.
These are our first set of challenges with more to come in 2021 and we are hoping to run fundraising events and activities in our studios to raise money for Mind, once it is safe to do so.
