Nathan McNamara has experience in delivering an International portfolio of projects varying in scale from hyper-scale data centre campuses to a wide range of commercial, manufacturing, residential and retail schemes. Nathan has an Engineering and Management degree and joined the DB3 practice originally in 2008.
Some of Nathan’s earlier projects include the delivery of manufacturing projects in the steel processing industry and retail projects with Asda, Lidl, Tesco, Waitrose, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s and Aldi. Recently, Nathan has worked primarily in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester delivering regional and specialist projects in Europe for the world’s largest search engine clients and banks.
Nathan is a passionate advocate of sustainable design and fanatical about the utilisation of technology and data management in construction delivery. He is currently working with a framework of partners to deliver total embodied carbon traceability, city electrification and clean energy production tactics led by the newly established DB3 Net Zero team. The team are developing a client support service combining the knowledge of architects, engineers, modular building manufacturers, data management and project controls experts, renewable energy providers and environmental scientists to give real carbon traceability, reduction and mitigation strategies that do not rely on offsetting.
Providing leadership, oversight and governance to the business, bids, operating and commercial activities, Nathan splits his time across all of DB3’s seven UK offices.
Nathan is a passionate football fan and spends his free time reading Eastern Philosophy and studying the History of Art.
