Tom is a chartered architect with more than 18 years post qualification experience working for both large professional services consultancies and main contractors prior to DB3. Tom has been responsible for overseeing multi-disciplinary design teams successfully delivering Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) with construction costs up to £700m.

Tom is the Industrial & Manufacturing sector lead at DB3 with wider experience and valuable expertise in modular building design as well as the transportation and renewable energy sectors and more specifically the waste sector where Tom has been involved in more than 30 waste & energy facilities throughout the UK including:

  • Energy from Waste Facilities (EfWs)
  • Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs)
  • Biomass conversions
  • Waste Transfer Stations (WTS)
  • Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)

Tom has comprehensive knowledge of the use of BIM having been responsible for its strategic integration and use across offices throughout the UK. He has a proactive approach and sees huge value in building collaborative relationships between the client, design and construction teams.
