DB3, in partnership with Herefordshire Council, Sport England, British Cycling, Stronger Hereford and Hereford City Council, has delivered a brand new 1km closed road, traffic free cycle circuit in the heart of Hereford. One of only 30 dedicated facilities of its kind in England, the £1.6 million development provides a safe, inclusive environment for cyclists of all ages and abilities.

The fully enclosed 4m wide tarmac track allows beginners, families, schools and clubs to ride, train and race without needing to navigate traffic. A children’s learn to ride area with road style markings helps new riders gain confidence in a realistic but controlled setting. The track is open year round and is designed for everything from recreational riding to club coaching and competitive training.

The project is managed by Halo Leisure, with support from local cycling organisations including the Hereford Triathlon Club.
