We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Architects / Technicians / Technologists to join our Leeds team and lead/support projects within our specialist sports & leisure sector.

Although ideally working from our HQ in Leeds, the option to be based at our Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow studio would be considered for the right candidate.

Candidates should be ambitious with an excellent work ethic and be highly motivated. The successful individual must have a minimum of 5+ years’ post qualification experience in UK construction industry with a bias towards sports and leisure focused projects. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong capability in the use of Revit, AutoCAD and BIM Level II.

Candidate Requirements:

  • experience working traditionally on the client side of a contract
  • experience in producing tender and construction packages of drawing information accurately under very tight deadlines
  • worked in the UK construction / design industry for a minimum of 5+ years as a qualified architect / technician / technologist.
  • willing to run and project manage large projects, working both independently on drawing packages, and managing assistants where necessary to ensure quality control of issued information;
  • able to audit the design and identify inconsistencies, discrepancies and missing information and record, report and track the close-out of these items;
  • good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning / Building Regulations application process;
  • capable of robust UK construction detailing;
  • excellent communication skills: spoken and written;
  • client-facing experience;
  • experience in leading meetings on site with the client, design and contractor team;
  • delivered projects from conception to completion; ideally worked in all RIBA Stages;
  • very good Revit skills, and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Level II;
  • salary dependent on experience.

 

We are seeking experienced Building Services Engineers to join our Manchester-based team. Our ideal candidates should be highly motivated and ambitious, with a strong work ethic. We are looking for passionate professionals who have proven expertise in MEP services and a track record of successfully managing large and complex projects.

As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work on diverse projects and collaborate with talented professionals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Building Services Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience of MEP Services
  • Experience of managing a series of sizeable or complex projects
  • Experience and understanding of Health and Safety, Quality Management and CDM regulations
  • High level of computer literacy including competency in the use of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, TAS, Cymap, Hevacomp and NES software
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and budgets with no supervision
  • Design and construction processes appreciation and understanding
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical discipline issues
  • Broad sector experience is preferred but not essential
  • Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Planning / Building Regulations application process
  • Experience in leading meetings on site with the client, design and contractor team
  • Excellent communication skills: spoken and written
